Neuropsychological Assessment
Neuropsychological Assessment is a performance-based method to evaluate cognitive functioning. This type of assessment is used to determine how an illness or a brain injury affects a person's ability to function. Sometimes this assessment may help to determine a diagnosis or rule out some of the problems.
Psychological Assessment
Psychological Assessment is a process that helps Psychologists and other mental health specialists to arrive at some hypotheses about a person and their behaviour, personality and capabilities. It may include tests that measure a person’s intelligence, personality, and emotional responses. Psychological Assessments may be requested by courts, schools, hospitals, etc.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a process that helps a person to understand their own motivations, desires, and often unconscious processes, to grow, improve relationships, or to change dysfunctional patterns. Psychotherapy can help improve mental health, treat mental illness, improve well-being, and quality of life.
I treat and consult on a multitude of problems and conditions: depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, relationship problems, parenting issues, transgender well-being, coping with divorce, college adjustment, social skills, and others.
